Wow its been a while...

With one of my classes this past semester I have hardly had time to do anything let alone blog... first things first! At the end of May we were able to go with my family to Chicago! It was a blast! Freezing but so much fun! We were able to see two pro baseball games as well as a few boat tours and just so much of Chicago! I will admit Aust has most of the city pictures.. i was more concerned of taking pictures of my adorable little nephew:) I was so lucky to spend time with him and that he was able to play with me and get to know me and love me:) he would run into my arms i just love him!

The end is in sight!

Well I am all set to graduate BYU in June next year! Granted that is a year away, the end is in sight and I know the year will fly by especially since I have already registered up until winter semester. It feels good! I cant wait! Also as much as I have loved this semester and have been extremely lucky with my classes, I am ready for it to finally be done.... whooo! almost there!

MOAB!

This weekend we had the opportunity to go with my brother and his wife to Moab and hike at Arches National Park! Let's just say this was definitely an adventure... I'm sure I can't tell all the stories but first i must say, somehow we ended up staying in the handicap room....

I wish i could upload all the pictures but I'll just do a few.... I'm glad we could go, it was a blast!:)

And then before we headed home, we had to stop at hole in the rock! that was just as much of an adventure as moab! Plus they had a zoo!:)

Every thursday...... Aust goes with his brother to some grappling class and I don't go because i find it boring to watch and usually have stuff to do at home.... anyway after i've done all that stuff.... im stuck at home.... lonely..... every thursday..... suggestions???

this is a first!

So for the first semester EVER! I am actually ahead of my classes and not procrastinating on homework {except for one paper} but i consider that pretty good! It feels amazing, I dont know why i havent figured this out sooner!

i know this is a little late....

Sorry i know this is late seeing as its days past valentines but seriously i dont know how i got so lucky!!!! my husband just spoiled me this year!!! i came home to rose petals leading to our bedroom, i <3 you spelled out on the bed with them, a pearl necklace/earring/bracelet set in the middle of the heart as well as tickets to go see the vow that night, an adorable card, and a beautiful bouquet of roses:) he is just the best! we went to the movie and had dinner after. It was perfect and i wasnt even expecting a thing! that boy is too good at surprising me:) we also had a great lazy weekend just spending oodles of time with each other! we also saw this means war and i must say i loved that movie!!! it was so funny and just overall a really good show! I want to watch it again!!!

Our first christmas:) along with other holiday festivities!

What an amazing past few weeks it has been! First of all, my brother, sister in law, and nephew flew out for christmas break! I'm so glad they were able to come out. I missed them SO much! Unfortunately they leave to go back to nebraska today but I'm thankful for the time I got to spend with them and baby sitting hudson! He is walking now and knows who I am! It was so fun chasing him around!
Second, we got together with the paz  family (my sister in laws family) and made gingerbread houses! I wish I had a picture of austin and mine's because it failed.... miserably....
 Then it was time for our first christmas together!!!!!:) and it was so perfect! We spent christmas eve sleeping at my mom's house with jeff and crystal, we played games and talked til we finally went to bed. And then it was up early (hudson doesnt sleep in very long) and we opened gifts and paul and claire stopped by and we all had breakfast! I loved spending time with my family! Then it was out to west jordan to visit austin's dad and then up to bountiful to visit his mom! When we finally made it back to our apartment in provo it was time for our own christmas! I walk in and to my surprise austin had cleaned everything! He's the best:) not to mention we both spoiled each other with presents and love! It was the best christmas ever!!
For new years, we went over to paul and claire's apartment along with paul's friends and we ate pizza and had dessert and played an interesting game called qwelf! I suggest everyone play it at least once.... its great! We also played a game called pass the pigs.... wow it was intense! We then watched the ball drop and looked at the fireworks going off outside and then called it a night!
All in all.... It's been an amazing past month! :) and I'm not looking forward to school starting in 2 days....
